The Fall Protection for Construction course provides workers with essential knowledge on the safe use of fall prevention, work positioning, fall restraint, and fall arrest systems. Falls remain one of the leading causes of serious injuries and fatalities in the construction industry, making proper training critical for anyone working at heights. This course introduces the hazards associated with falls, the regulations that require protective systems, and the equipment used to prevent or arrest a fall.

Learners will explore how fall protection systems function, when they are required, and how to use them correctly. The program also covers the components of a personal fall arrest system, how to inspect and don a full-body harness, and the criteria for attaching connecting devices to anchorage points and lifelines. This online fall protection training course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. Learners may pause and resume the course as needed.

A score of 80% is required to receive a certificate of completion. Participants may retake the course up to two additional times if the passing mark is not achieved on the first attempt.

Upon successful completion, learners will be able to download and print a certificate confirming their fall protection training.
