Safe driving goes beyond speed and skill, it requires proper rest and strict compliance with Canada’s Hours of Service regulations. This training program gives drivers practical tools to manage fatigue, follow duty limits, and reduce the risks associated with long hours on the road.
Fatigue is a serious safety issue. Even minor lapses in alertness can cause major incidents. Non-compliance doesn’t just put safety at stake, it can damage your record, cost you fines, and create challenges for both you and your employer.
Through this course, you’ll learn how to apply Canadian duty status rules, use sleeper berth provisions effectively, and navigate exceptions or emergencies. You’ll also explore how to correctly operate electronic logging devices (ELDs) and work alongside co-drivers in team driving situations.
