Learners will explore the distinctions between jury duty and witness leave, the requirements of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), and the benefits and protections provided under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Each topic highlights both employee entitlements and employer obligations, including eligibility, pay considerations, and reinstatement rights.

A passing score of 80% is required to successfully complete the course. Participants have up to three attempts to achieve this score. Quizzes throughout the course reinforce key learning objectives and promote understanding.

Upon successfully passing the course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing. This certificate confirms awareness of federal leave laws and workplace compliance responsibilities.
