The WHMIS 2025 Refresher course provides an efficient review of the core elements of Canada’s Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System. This updated program reflects the 2022 amendments to the Hazardous Products Regulations and reinforces how WHMIS aligns with the Globally Harmonized System. Throughout the course, learners strengthen their ability to recognize hazard classes, categories, and pictograms used in Canadian workplaces.

Participants also revisit essential tools they rely on every day, including supplier and workplace labels and Safety Data Sheets. The course clearly explains their required components and how they support safe handling, storage, and emergency response. Both employer and worker responsibilities are emphasized to ensure learners understand their part in maintaining a safe work environment.

This training equips workers with a solid understanding of modern hazard communication standards in Canada. Completing the course helps learners confidently interpret WHMIS symbols, read labels effectively, and use SDS information to control risks across various work environments.

This online WHMIS refresher takes approximately 25 minutes to complete. Learners may pause and resume at any time.

A passing score of 80% is required. Participants have three attempts to successfully complete the final exam, which helps reinforce understanding of key WHMIS concepts.

Upon passing the final assessment, learners can immediately download and print a digital Certificate of Completion for their records.
