This Confined Spaces: Entry Team Training – Maintenance Activities course is designed to reduce injuries and fatalities by helping workers recognize these hazards and understand the procedures required for safe entry.

Learners explore the differences between confined spaces and permit-required confined spaces, how to identify and control hazards, and the importance of proper preparation before any entry takes place. The course also explains the responsibilities of every entry team member—authorized entrants, attendants, and entry supervisors—so each person understands their role in maintaining a safe operation.

A dedicated section on rescue procedures provides guidance on internal and external rescue teams, employer obligations, and non-entry rescue practices. By the end of this training, workers will know how to support a safe and compliant permit space entry that protects themselves and their coworkers.

This online confined space entry training takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. Learners can start, pause, and resume the course at their convenience.

A minimum score of 80% is required to pass the final exam. Participants may attempt the exam up to three times. Short quizzes throughout the training reinforce key concepts and support knowledge retention.

Upon successful completion, learners can download and print a digital certificate confirming their understanding of confined space hazards, team responsibilities, safe entry procedures, and rescue requirements.
