BIS Safety Software in partnership with Canadian Food Safety
BIS Safety Software, in partnership with Canadian Food Safety, is pleased to announce the release of their new Food Safety Basics online training.
This online Food Safety Basics course covers the importance of food safety and the preventive measures to help keep people safe from food-borne illness.
This new course covers topics including:
- Food hazards
- Potentially hazardous foods
- Preparing and serving safe food
Using the latest multimedia technology, the course was developed to be user friendly and engaging. Test questions throughout the course are used to reinforce the information presented. The course will take approximately 140 minutes to complete, and a certificate of completion will be available if a passing mark of 80% is achieved. Users will have 3 attempts to complete the course.
