This Asbestos Awareness in Canada training course brings you an overview of the safe work practices used when working with or around asbestos containing materials. This course will bring learners an understanding of what asbestos is and what it’s used for. We’ll go through the common types of asbestos that can be found in the workplace, as well as asbestos-related illnesses. By the end of this course, learners will understand the importance of reporting potential asbestos containing materials and will understand what is required before conducting work around these materials.
This is an awareness course. Never engage in work with asbestos containing materials unless you are qualified to do so.
This course was created using standards that will allow playback on most internet capable devices with standard web browsing capabilities including Apple’s iTouch, iPad, and iPhone, as well as most other smart phones and tablets including those with Android and Windows operating systems.
