Simple actions, such as wearing an appropriate floatation device, abstaining from drugs and alcohol, and taking time to properly plan out your trip can significantly reduce this number. For most boaters, boating is a pleasurable experience. This Boating Awareness course helps to ensure the safety of yourself, your passengers, and others out on the water.
