Course Overview
This training program equips employers, supervisors, and managers with a practical and science-driven understanding of cannabis, covering both medicinal and recreational use. The course focuses on building workplace cannabis awareness and effective policy management for a safe, compliant environment.
By the end of this Cannabis Awareness Training, you will be able to:
- Define cannabis and understand its legal and workplace implications.
- Differentiate between hemp, marijuana, and cannabis clearly.
- Explain the roles of CBD and THC and their impact on the human body.
- Identify various cannabis strains and their potential effects.
- Understand how cannabis consumption influences physical and mental health.
- Explore approved medical uses and emerging cannabis treatments.
- Recognize common methods of cannabis consumption and their associated risks.
This workplace cannabis training takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, making it efficient for busy professionals.
Interactive assessments are included throughout the Managing Cannabis in the Workplace course to reinforce key concepts. A minimum score of 80% is required to pass. Learners have up to three attempts to meet the pass requirement and earn their certificate.
Once successfully completed, a downloadable and printable Certificate of Completion will be available as proof of training achievement.
