Commercial driving involves more than just operating a vehicle — it requires a deep understanding of safety laws, logistics, and hazard management. This training program provides foundational knowledge to help drivers improve performance, reduce incidents, and meet both provincial and national transportation safety expectations.

This program includes 10 courses designed for professional drivers:

• Hours of Service – Learn NSC Standard 9 rules for duty status, logging, and compliance.
• Pre-Trip Inspections – Understand NSC Standard 13 and the key inspection steps to ensure vehicle safety.
• Weights and Dimensions – Review MOU guidelines, enforcement policies, and provincial differences.
• Distracted Driving Prevention – Recognize and avoid distractions to maintain focus and prevent collisions.
• Defensive Driving – Develop awareness, maintenance habits, and accident avoidance strategies.
• Firefighting & Fire Extinguisher Safety – Learn to identify, control, and extinguish fires safely.
• WHMIS 2025 – Understand hazard classification, labeling, and safety data sheets for workplace chemicals.
• TDG: Transportation of Dangerous Goods (2025) – Study classification, labeling, and emergency procedures.
• Fatigue Management Training – Identify fatigue factors and implement strategies for safer driving.
• Cargo Securement (Flatbeds) – Explore NSC Standard 10 and securement procedures for different cargo types.

This complete online program takes approximately 13 hours to finish. Learners can progress through the courses at their own pace, starting and resuming as needed.

Each course includes interactive assessments to confirm comprehension. A minimum passing mark of 80% is required, with up to three attempts per course to achieve certification.

Upon successful completion of each module, participants will receive an individual certificate of completion. Each certificate can be downloaded and printed, providing documented proof of training completion and compliance with NSC-aligned requirements.
