The Construction Safety course provides a complete introduction to the foundational systems, behaviours, and regulatory requirements that support a safe construction worksite. Designed for owners, managers, estimators, supervisors, and new safety representatives, this program helps participants understand how to build and maintain a safe workplace that aligns with governing regulations and Certificate of Recognition (COR) audit requirements.

Learners explore the key responsibilities of safety leadership, including worksite supervision, conducting toolbox talks, delivering training, performing inspections, and completing incident investigations. The course also introduces the process of developing and maintaining a functional safety manual—an essential tool for creating consistent safety practices across an organization.

Participants build practical skills they can apply immediately on the job, from evaluating hazards and prioritizing risks to designing training programs and leading safety meetings. By the end of the course, they will understand how safety programs function, how to meet regulatory obligations, and how to strengthen workplace culture through effective safety management.

This online training takes approximately 6 hours to complete. Learners may start, pause, and resume the course as needed.

A minimum score of 80% is required to pass. Participants have three attempts to achieve a passing grade. A comprehensive student manual is provided to support learning and serve as a long-term reference.
