This DOT Driver Compliance course provides Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) drivers with a clear understanding of the rules and safety requirements established by the U.S. Department of Transportation. These regulations help keep drivers and the public safe by outlining expectations for qualifications, Hours-of-Service limits, vehicle inspections, logbook documentation, and required safety equipment. The course also introduces key Hazardous Materials (HazMat) considerations and offers insight into how compliance is evaluated during audits.

By the end of the training, learners will understand the documentation needed to qualify as a driver, how to complete a daily log sheet, when and how inspections must be performed, drug and alcohol testing requirements, common HazMat obligations, what DOT auditors look for, and how the CSA 2010 initiative impacts compliance and safety.
