Harassment & Retaliation Prevention for Employees and Supervisors (US) \u2013 Construction is an online course that follows the \u201cedutainment\u201d format, covering the types of unlawful harassment and retaliation. The course uses simple and practical explanations, combined with live-action examples by professional actors. This course meets the harassment prevention training requirements for employees and supervisors, except in cases where state laws require 2 hours of training for supervisors.<\/p>\n

      Harassment is defined based on its impact, and not its intention. For example, an inappropriate comment that offends an employee is considered harassment, even if the person responsible thought it was harmless humor.<\/p>\n

      How Organizations Can Prevent Workplace Harassment<\/h3>\n

      Organizations should implement a strict policy against harassment, complemented with legal advice. All members of the company should receive harassment prevention training, and managers should receive specialized training that considers their position of authority.
