New Linked Assets Software

Here are just a few ways this new linked asset feature can be used:
1. Link assets to company vehicles
With this new feature, you can create an asset profile for your work truck, welding equipment, and first aid kit. You can link them all together so when you view the work truck’s profile, you’ll see all the assets that are onboard. You can even link the work truck to an employee, who will be using all of them.
You can re-assign any of the assets to another vehicle or user at any time with a quick scan of the QR code and a few, quick button clicks.
2. Nest assets under a company location
Your company may have hundreds of worksites and office locations across the country or even internationally. With the new linked assets feature, your team can assign and track their most critical assets to any company location.
Looking for a specific forklift for maintenance? Just check its asset profile and you can instantly see which job site or warehouse it’s being used.
3. Link assets to each other
A great use of the asset linking feature is connecting multiple assets to each other. Imagine you have an automated external defibrillator (AED) added to every primary first aid kit at every worksite. You can now link AEDs to first aid kits and nest them both under all worksite locations.
Not only are you tracking which first aid kits have AEDs, you are also tracking which locations has AEDs and when they were assigned so you can regularly check and inspect them.
4. Connect assets to employee profiles
As we mentioned above, you can link assets to employee profiles. This is incredibly useful when you have multiple employees who are qualified to operate a certain piece of equipment. Whenever an employee needs to use equipment, such as a forklift, they can scan the QR code on the forklift and assign it to their profile before they begin using it.
This feature is great for assigning and tracking assets provided to remote workers, such as work computers, tablets, phones, monitors, and other technology your employees need. You can quickly find who has your equipment and ensure they are returned.
With this update, you can assign an unlimited number of equipment and assets and keep track of them all on your laptop, phone, or tablet.

The asset management software includes QR code technology, so you can print QR code stickers, apply them to any piece of equipment, and scan the code to instantly access the equipment’s profile. In the profile, you can instantly see if the piece of equipment is linked to another asset, user, or location and quickly navigate through all the links.
