New Launch: SafeTapp 2.0
Your Feedback, Your App!
Over the past several years, we have been listening to hundreds of suggestions and feedback from our clients and we have created SafeTapp 2.0! We’ve taken all of our customer advice and paired it with our advanced analytics to make some significant changes to SafeTapp. We’ve fixed bugs and improved performance so that your staff and clients can access and submit data whether they’re in the office or out in the field. You’ll find some great improvements to some of our key features:
- Navigation – With a new sleek and clean look, you can easily access information right at your fingertips. All tabs are easily marked and accessible for users of all levels so you can find exactly what you’re looking for.
- Customizable Interface – The previous app was a bold black and yellow for all users. With the new update, the app interface will now automatically customize to your BIStrainer portal branding, colours, and logos.
- Assets – With the new visual equipment forms meter you can easily track and manage equipment forms and information. The meter is red, yellow, and green to quickly view the status of your forms and assigned tasks and see how your team is doing overall. We have also added a new Linked Assets feature that lets you see who signed out assets, where they’re being used, and if they’re attached to another asset. - QR Code Technology – improved functionality allowing you to access personnel and asset information with a quick scan You can validate employee badges and records in seconds using QR code technology. Scanning the QR code on a ticket will display you the record’s status, including the certificate number, completion date, expiry date, pass mark, and ID verification status. You can also give your staff badges with QR codes on them, which you can scan to see a complete list of that employee’s training records. When QR codes aren’t available, manual verification is the next best thing. You can pull up a complete list of that employee’s training using either the certificate number or the user ID, then click into each entry for more information and copies of the certificates.
Even though this app is brand new, we’re still listening. We are always taking in suggestions and feedback to make this app better every day. One of the new up and coming features is what we’re calling the “Teams” tab. This is essentially a mobile, preview version of the Manage Users tab on the desktop version. The “manage users” tab gives client admins the ability to view and organize users based on their location or jobsite. Now it is easy to view where your employees are located and the status of their training, outstanding forms, and more!
