We want to thank both the Canadian Occupational Safety Magazine as well as everyone who took the time to vote for us in the Online Training and HSE Management Technology categories. We are as honoured as ever to have received these two reader choice awards. This is the third time the readers of COS have awarded BIS Safety Software, and we could not be prouder to be chosen for these two awards.The BIS learning and compliance software would not be where it is without regular feedback from our fantastic clients and partners. We work with clients who have a rich history in the health and safety industry. Companies spanning industries like Energy, Transportation, Mining, Manufacturing, Auto Repair, and so much more.

We get so many fantastic feature suggestions from our community that we have been able to create a software solution that is constantly evolving to keep up with the needs of professionals who understand how important safety is to their teams. We aim to continuously develop our safety software and use the fantastic feature suggestions from our clients and community to keep at the forefront of the industry. We understand the importance of safety and we are committed to making it easier and more efficient to practice safe working habits. At the end of the day, we would love to see companies work with zero injuries, and more importantly, zero fatalities.

Here are a few examples of the fantastic clients we work with and with whom we have meaningful partnerships. These great companies help us improve the BIS Learning & Compliance system:Morgan Construction – Before making the switch to a paperless system, Nicole Graham, Morgan Construction’s Learning & Development Coordinator, and Trudy Decker, their HR Supervisor, explained that the team at Morgan Construction had to manually print, scan, and check nearly 72 pages of documents when they hired a new employee. After the switch to the Digital Forms on the BIS Training & Compliance system, the team at Morgan Construction spends less time on tedious paperwork, and they have been able to focus their efforts on other key responsibilities like producing high-quality reports for management and developing superior training for their customers.

North American Construction Group – Tammy Siver, Training & HSE Manager at NACG, said that “digital forms allow [them] to complete real-time equipment operator evaluations in the field. They are easy to develop and very user-friendly to complete.”

The BIStrainer system currently includes an enterprise-level Learning Management System (LMS) that includes a training matrix to automate training assignments; a Training Records Management System where you can upload thousands of employee training records in minutes; classroom calendar software which includes zoom integration to help with remote training; custom digital forms with a rich template library including forms on field level hazard assessments, safety audits, toolbox talks, COR audits, incident reports, vehicle maintenance forms, and much more. All of these features are available on secure cloud-hosted servers with a mobile app with some offline functionality to provide access in the field.
