Toxic atmospheres, oxygen deficiencies, and explosion hazards are common in many work environments, and an average of 20 people lose their lives each year due to confined space incidents. More than half of those fatalities involve untrained workers attempting rescue.
This Confined Space Hazards International course gives learners a clear understanding of the dangers associated with confined spaces and the steps required to protect themselves and others. The training explains how to recognize confined spaces, identify hazardous conditions, understand atmospheric risks, and follow employer procedures that support safe entry and monitoring. Learners also explore the responsibilities of entrants, attendants, and entry supervisors, as well as how to respond appropriately when hazardous atmospheres or emergency situations arise.
By the end of the course, participants will understand how to work safely in or around confined spaces, when a permit may be required, and how to prevent incidents that could cause serious harm.

NOTE MINIMALE REQUISE
A minimum score of 80% is required to pass the final exam. Participants have three attempts to achieve a passing grade. Short quizzes throughout the course reinforce key concepts and support knowledge retention.
